Hilton Newark Airport

We had the most amazing serving by Taishla (Tai)!! She went above and beyond for our family from check in to offering assistance with a few issues we were having. So thankful for her professionalism, her kindness, and that she was at the front desk during our stay! She’s a breath of fresh air in customer service!

Had a layover in Newark in September 2025. Stayed at this Hilton property by the airport. You can tell this has been here a while. While convenient, it is dated and some of the decor is out of time. It could use a refresh and update. However, the property is managed well. It isn't bad. It has a park lot adjacent to the building and is gated. You do need a card to access or exit. Easy to and from airport and they do have a shuttle. Over all I was satisfied with this location and property. The service was good and the people attentive. Hope they update the furnishings and catch up to some of the newer Hilton decor soon.

This is to give an excellent review and service for Ms. Vay, Director at the Front Desk. This evening I was overcharged the rate when I normally use the Hilton parking, however Ms. Vay respectfully educated me that the normal pricing of $10 plus tax is for under 6 hours and after that to my surprise it is an additional cost. Also, I was advised it is best to pay at the front desk, rather than submitting payment at the gate. She then kindly compensated me with complimentary parking for one day and advised she would submit for reimbursement of $33.18. A Sincere note of Thanks to you Ms. Vay. Jan 2, 2026.

We use the hotel for a park and fly for a week-long vacation. It worked perfectly for us. Check-in was fast and friendly. Rather than using the hotel transportation, we used Uber to and from our terminal since it was terminal a and is currently a nightmare to get in and out of from the train. When we return, we were a day late due to weather. And they did not charge us for the extra day of parking.

Exactly what I needed for the night stay by the airport. Restaurant staff were excellent. They offered food to go to take up to the room since I arrived so late. It came out fast and was fresh. The convenience of digital key was also wonderful.

Pro: Nice hote, modern clean rooms! :) And of course convenient location. :) Con: Shuttle missed me twice -had to wait 45+ minutes :( No microwave to warm up my food :(

We had to arrive around 1:30am due to miscalculations in time in the city, but the staff there were quick and efficient even though we came back a few more times around that hour for a few necessities from the pantry. The beds were super comfy given that they had weighted covers. Very quiet, great location, airport shuttle was amazing, and of course if I didn't mention it already staff were super friendly and helpful at the check in desk!! Their pantry is stocked with everything from Advil to any food needs or even laundry pods. Airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes from the hour, which doesn't sound like much service but we were alright leaving and coming in during a rush. Definitely recommend this hotel (and of course, we are ready to come back)!

Great location and quiet even though within eye shot of the airport. Views from my room were amazing of NYC skyline. Staff was very pleasant. There is a parking garage with very tight spots, so if you have a large vehicle you may just want to head straight to the top level to park. Only stairs to access top levels of garage, so carrying luggage to and from your car can be a pain unless you go get your car and pack up/unload from the front of the hotel.
